The film was written by Al Kaplan, writer of recent cult horror films Zombeavers, The Drone, and Warner Brothers’ Critters: A New Binge. Jon Kaplan also served as producer. Jon and Al Kaplan are also the creative minds behind the hit off-Broadway musical parody Silence! The Musical. Also joining Roger Lay, Jr. and Eric Carnagey on the production team is Brad Luff, best-known for such horror genre hits as Urban Legend and its sequels.
Lowlifes’ stars Matthew MacCaull (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, DC’S Legends of Tomorrow) and Amanda Fix (Orphan Black) as a father and daughter on a road trip vacation that will bring them face to face with an unspeakable evil on a journey that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats until the film’s chilling final confrontation.
